In today’s developed world, we are overfed yet undernourished. Junk food has taken over and we often miss out on the real reason we eat: to obtain nutrients.

Einkorn, rye, spelt, buckwheat, and kamut are better choices, which are all made with sourdough rather than baker’s yeast. The fermentation process breaks down the anti-nutrients, making the actual nutrients more easily assimilated and less likely to cause digestive stress.
Sugar, corn sweetener, corn syrup, dextrose, fructose, glucose, high-fructose corn syrup, honey, lactose, malt syrup, maltose, molasses, raw sugar, and sucrose.
These add a lot of energy to your diet that you do not burn off. These sugars are also exclusively broken down by the liver and stored as glycogen before it gets turned into fat. I prefer coconut sugar or raw honey as an alternative.
These are canola, soybean, corn oil, safflower, and margarine.
In developed countries, cancer is now the leading cause of death. Researchers have implicated vegetable oils in the development of certain types of cancer. A study of mice demonstrated twice the malignancy in a group given vegetable oils versus fish oils.
The major problem with vegetable oils is that their omega-6 molecules are damaged in the extensive processing process. Therefore, they are vulnerable after bottling, react to oxygen and sunlight, making the molecules inflammatory.
Use extra virgin olive oil instead!
